When you place your order, you may have the option to upgrade to a specified form of handling and delivery. If any upgrades are available you will find them in the drop down box marked 'delivery options'. We currently offer the following delivery upgrade options:
Next Day Express Handling
For orders placed before midday on a working day, Express Handling ensures that the item(s) will be picked ahead of other orders and dispatched the same day. For the majority of mainland UK locations, this means that it will be delivered the next working day.
For orders placed on non-working days (weekends and bank holidays), or after 5.00pm on a working day, Express Handling ensures that the item(s) will be given priority and dispatched on the following working day on the upgraded carrier service.
Next Day Express is available on Small and Medium Products which are held in stock at our Evesham distribution centre.
If having your order delivered on a weekday would be inconvenient, you can upgrade to Saturday Delivery.
Saturday Delivery is only available on Small and Medium Products - see the individual product pages to see which delivery category each item falls into.
Where possible, Saturday Deliveries for mainland UK destinations placed before midday on Friday will be delivered on the Saturday at the end of the week. Orders placed after this time may be delivered on the coming Saturday, but if we are unable to dispatch it in time, it will be held and delivered on the following Saturday.
Premium Large Item Delivery
To keep our cost to you as low as possible the standard Pallet Deliveries are made by a single driver, who will not be able to move large items on his own. They will deliver your order on a pallet to the outside of your address and for heavy and bulky items, this means that someone will need to be available to help the driver unload and move your goods.
If this isn't practical, you can upgrade to our Premium Large Item Delivery Service which means that your order will be delivered by a two-person team who can unload and move your goods without your help. They will also unpack the items, move them to wherever you require within your property and remove all unwanted packaging materials.
Extended Inspection Time
We and our carriers take great care with the products you order and always do our best to ensure that they arrive in the condition that they left
our warehouse. Regrettably, though, there will always be a few occasions when items are damaged in transit due to circumstances beyond our control.
Our terms and conditions normally require you to notify us of any damage in transit within seven days of taking delivery.
However, we appreciate that sometimes it may be impractical to open and inspect a delivery straight away, especially for large items that may not be used
immediately or which require professional installation.
If you need longer, then you have the option of paying an additional insurance fee to
extend the inspection time. You can choose from these options:
- 30 day inspection time: Additional fee of 2% of the order value (Maximum charge £10)
- 60 day inspection time: Additional fee of 3% of the order value (Maximum charge £15)
- 90 day inspection time: Additional fee of 4% of the order value (Maximum charge £20)
"Order value" means the total cost of the items in your order, excluding any coupon discounts, delivery and any other extras or upgrades.
